Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

You and your eligible family members can take advantage of Omnicell’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no cost to you. Your requests are completely confidential.

What is the EAP?

The EAP—available through Aetna—provides confidential counseling and referral services to help you and your family members cope with life’s many challenges.

The EAP can help with a variety of problems, including:

  • Marital and family problems
  • Stress
  • Emotional issues
  • Substance abuse
  • Legal and financial concerns
  • Child and elder care
  • Workplace conflicts
  • Time management techniques

You and your family members can receive up to six free counseling visits per year, per incident. Your medical plan includes coverage for longer-term mental health care services.

How to contact the EAP

The EAP is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including weekends and holidays) at 1-888-238-6232. You can also visit the EAP website for online tools, tips, and resources to help you live a more balanced life. When you call or visit the website, your user name is Omnicell and the password is EAP.

The EAP phone lines are staffed with licensed clinicians and skilled behavioral health care professionals who will assess problems and refer you to a local EAP provider if appropriate. The clinicians may conduct a brief clinical assessment before referring you to a local provider who can help address your needs.
