My domestic partnership ends?

When your domestic partnership ends, you may want to consider making changes to your benefits plan, beneficiaries, payroll tax withholding, and contact/emergency information. You are responsible to remove your former California registered domestic partner from coverage immediately upon divorce or termination of the domestic partnership.

You can make changes to your benefits within 31 days of the event. The decisions you make will affect your benefits for the remainder of the benefits plan year. All changes are submitted to HR for final approval before being sent to the carrier. Some changes may require a form to be completed or for additional information to be provided.
